Hi all,
Our "new" 91 GLI has an unpleasant noise when revved in neutral, above
~3000rpm. It sounds kinda like a bearing of some sort, but possibly in the
valve train area...??? Most of the local VW dealers/shops are totally
clueless (in my experience) with the 16v motors. Does anyone know of a good
shop in this area? I'd like to avoid traveling to the Bay area (SanFran, 2
hours away) but I'll consider it if there's some pro's down there. Any info
would be appreciated.
