I know its hike as well, but Beetlepower in Pleasanton in ridiculous as well. Again, not the cheapest, but I actually trust them more than ND. A tad bit closer as well...

If it's kind of a "roller skate wheel" type of noise, it may be your tensioner. If you don't know how many miles are on your timing belt/tensioner, CHANGE IT ASAP! If the belt breaks/slips, you could be looking at a whole bunch of new valves (like 16), and, possibly, some new pistons. I don't know of any shops in the Sacto area, but they must exist. If you want to come to the Bay Area, New Dimensions is excellent, albeit a little pricey, for some people. --Holland Forced Failure Racing Don't Ask MotorSports [email protected] a2_16V List Owner [email protected] San Jose, California _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
