The rubber mount is cheaper, but you need a bracket ($20) to convert. If you want to put the power down to the road, and don't mind the dash vibrating you can get a plastic insert for the passenger mount too.
I have the bracket and pass. mount I didn't get to this past fall. My mount bottoms out on hard left corners. Dave. '90 GLi ----- Original Message ----- : It looks like the 2L 16v passenger side engine mount is different from the : 1.8L. Kind of sucks since the 1.8L mount costs around $30, and the 2L was : quoted at $130. Anyone know of a better price? I don't care if it's liquid : or solid, just reasonably priced. : : Thanks, : Paul : 91 GLI 16v - crappy mounts : 87 GTI 16v - nice mounts _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
