Nope, no way I can afford full-out coilovers. Even if I could afford it, I
couldn't justify it. For only street driving and auto-x'ing on the weekend,
coilovers would be overkill.

Actually, I like to go to the drag strip every once in a while to show up
street racers (ricers?), and tune the car, so I would want the
adjustability. There's a race at a 1/2 mile oval track near where I live
that I go to as well, so I would want to change the right-left balance when
I get there.

What about taking the wheels off and using a ruler to measure how far up or
down the perches are when adjusting them? That would be accurate enough,
right? That's what I did when I had another car with fully adjustable,
rebuildable shocks/springs. Well, it might have been an R/C car, but setting
it up is just like a real car, pretty much. Uses the same concepts anyway.
