Jim, Here's what I'm running: VR6 upper strut bearings Custom Ground Control coil overs - modified A2 strut housings, lower spring perches removed and GC lower support rings welded on; powder coated Koni yellow; 325in/lb front springs/225 in/lb rears (Eibach ERS springs), with Koni external adjustables - G60 front inserts, standard 16V rear Koni's ND/Vibratechnics lower control arm bushings NS 25/28mm sway bars NS upper front/triangulated rear stress bars The front G60 Koni's are somewhat stiffer than the regular 16V inserts, and I seem to recall that the pistons are a larger diameter, as well. My car is pretty darn stiff with the 325/225 in/lb. springs, but some people are running 400/300's, which I think would be a little much for regular street use. Swapping out the springs isn't too difficult, so, if you wanted something stiffer for racing, you could just put in beefier springs. If you didn't change the ride height, you wouldn't even need an alignment. --Holland Forced Failure Racing Don't Ask MotorSports [email protected] a2_16V List Owner [email protected] San Jose, California _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
