My 1.8 16V Jetta GTX use to shutter on the first take off of the day.
All I did was get the fuel mixture set and no problems, but occasionally
it does shutter but its very rare and its not as bad as it use to be.

When I had my fuel mixture the orrigional rivot VW placed in the spot
was still there. Which means the mixture had never been adjusted.
