I ordered a used 16v transmission from Adirondack when mine went bad. The
aluminum piece that the clutch  cable goes through broke off, so they had
it welded back on. I haven't had any problems with it at all since then.
That's just my experience though. You never know, maybe it will snap off
one of these days. I doubt it though. Adios!
