I had the opportunity to, I wish I had now. I was at the Mobil station filling up. These two kids in a red one pull into the gas station and start reving their engine. I ignored them while I was writing down my mileage info. I look up then and this kid is hanging half way out the window egging me on. I just whipped around and pulled into the carwash. They went off sounding like a swarm of angry bees.
I should have raced him since he had the big exhaust that kills the torque curve even more. I actually like the looks of the Si. I saw one this morning on the way to work in that cool metallic blue. The Audi Avus style wheels are cools too. Would I ever buy one, most likely not. I'd rather have a VR6. A friend of mine has a Garrett chip equipped Jetta GLX. He's had it up to 154 indicated and beat me out of a tollbooth, even after I had a three car lead. Anyone see the latest Car and Driver with the aftermarket tuner cars? The supercharged Si burned a hole through one of the pistons during the high speed runs. The Mugen Integra would be a really cool track car. The Neuspeed TT sucked. Why didn't they get a TT from a real tuner like Oettinger, or ABT? Dave.
