Well, you can get a ticket for a cracked windshield if the cop wants to
be a dick. Like the one that pulled me over. It will probably crack more
as you drive it, especially in the winter. I heard that if you scratch a
line on the outside from the end of the crack back down to the edge of
the windshield, the crack will follow that path. That's what the guy from
Fast Enough Performance told me at Treffen two years ago. I got a new
windsheild this summer after I got a ticket. I will be parting that car
out in the late spring. If you can find out how to get it off without
breaking it, I will give it to you at a really good price. It is glued on
though. I would put off getting it replaced until it bugs you to death,
or if you get a ticket. The judge will throw it out if he sees you had it
replaced. Also, the (illinois) law states that you get the ticket if it
'impairs vision' or 'obstructs your view' or something along those
lines. I looked it up after I got my ticket. Adios!

Speaking of Illinois laws: I also read that yellow headlights are lega.
Adios!
