What suspension to get?

Hi, lately it seems like its time to replace the shocks on my car, so i was 
thinking that i might as well get new springs while i'm at it, and do that.
Question is, i was wondering what the cheapest yet good quality/performance kit 
i could get. Anyone have any ideas? i'm not looking to spend much money on this 
as i am a poor college student, but dont want anything too crappy.
Anyways, if anyone has some ideas on what some good products are out there, it 
would be helpfull.
