The problem with the VR6 is it's way to heavy. That's the problems with the
A3's. The A2's are lighter thus causing more of a nose I dive I would think.
The 1.8T is a solid platform. It has everything you need, it's light,
turbo'd and upgradeable at a low cost. If you use the 1.8T ECU, with a
Garret Chip, you've got great power at a fraction of the cost of a
comparable VR6. BUT, when you start to push the 1.8T to the 300+ range,
that's when I agree a turbo'd VR6 would be a better platform. You can
extract that easily from a VR6 without getting crazy with Haltech or TEC or
whatever.

Either swap is cool to me and I just wish I had the $ to do either one.
