My Golf came without PS and when I autocross I look very clumsy struggling
with the wheel and at times I have totally lost control of the wheel. After
I drove the PS equipped VW it was like wow! Very responsive steering. I
enjoy it immensly at low speeds. The only downside is the better feel I get
from the manual rack during moderately high speed cornering. On tight
country roads I am not too comfortable driving fast with the PS equipped
car, but the manual rack inspires confidence in me. Of course that's just
me.
