used is pretty crappy and adjusted itself after 10
minutes of smashing the
throttle. I am going to install a fixed resistor at
1100 ohms unless
someone can give me reasons to go higher than that.
With 1100 ohms I was seeing only .6V on the a/f meter at WOT. Too lean.
I think I've got it set to 2 or 2.5K now.
I would never go with a fixed resistor, as a matter of principle. I want
to have the flexibility. If you can't find a heavy-duty pot to withstand
the vibrations, use Dan's design (I posted a link a few messages back),
the one with four different resistors wired via a DIP switch. Then at
least you can select between 16 known, fixed values.
