as far as dash lights go for me, I replaced all my dash lights with bright LEDs. not much difference other than the fact that i wont have to replacing the LEDs for a LONG TIME. I made a basic sealed, waterproof power supply for them all that feeds off the cars 12V.. they've been in and working for 8 months and counting now.. no complaints at all.
