The Mk3 Upper Strut Mount swap is easy - I hear that the Corrado G60 mounts are stiffer so that's an option as well.
In any case, the USM swap is just that, a swap. Remove the Mk2 style USM (1 piece) and replace it with the G60 style which is 3 pieces - Mount, Bearing, Bushing. The beauty to this style is that as the mount wears (rubber donut), it's replaceable by itself. The only special tool is a spring compressor.
