Yup - the G60 mounts look identical to the Mk2 mounts but the word on the street is that the rubber is of a higher durometer.
Now that I've made the switch to the VR6 mounts, I won't go back - they're just that much better b/c they're individual pieces so I don't have to buy the whole mount when must the rubber bits are wasted. ----- Original Message ---- > From: Steve Arguello <[email protected]> > To: Volkswagen a2 16v discussion list <[email protected]> > Sent: Thu, July 22, 2010 12:18:19 PM > Subject: Re: [a2-16v-list] Upper Strut Mounts > > So the G60 mounts are bolt on to a Mk2 body and strut. > > > > On Jul 22, 2010, at 12:04 PM, Matthew Yip <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Lemme 'splain... > > > > The G60 mounts are the Mk2 style so belay my previous comments. > > > > The reason I call them "VR6 Mounts" is because the fitment is for a VR6 > > Corrado.
