I neglected to mention that I'm running a 7-row Setrab - I have a 12-row to
install but haven't gotten to it yet. The OE water/oil exchanger is long, long
gone.

The radiator is fairly new - maybe 2 years? I noticed a drop when I replaced
it
as well but this car has never run "cool".

Timing is OE - the 16vs don't seem to like more than the 8 degrees that is
recommended by the factory. Fuel may be an issue though - I'm still running
the
antique CIS-E that's mandated by SCCA's Improved Touring class. Something
that's making me increasingly negative towards SCCA since it's forcing out a
good number of older cars that aren't EFI or that can't be "tweaked" by a
replacement computer.

I'll contact my buddy with a dyno and do some testing - ugh, I hate "mysteries"
