How many of you have paid money in courses and private lessons when you
could have just RTFM? The mentality of "I will use this because I was
taught to use this" is a bit infantile and now it's not a question of
Linux vs. Windows but it's up to the user. I have many friends who are
not into IT who have managed to use Linux - I swear - they weren't geeks
at all ;)
My mum uses Linux. She is 67. She can't recognize the difference between
Linux and Windows. For her its a matter of Internet, Email and
occasionally a letter to Maltacom/Melita Cable/Enemalta.
The real Joe Six Pack doesn't even know how to install Windows. Windows
is much more than "Next, Next, Next". Even XP. The real Joe Six Pack
just wants to get his job/hobby done.
Just think about it...
