I'm guessing that I am probably one of the least experienced members, so in
this respect I've got the advantage being able to relate to any person
reading an article/tutorial for the first time better, as not too long ago I
was at the same stage they are now.

I suppose the best way to help with this is by helping you guys proof read
articles (English as my Maltese grammar is shameful to say the least),
especially keeping in mind how someone completely new to OSS would take it.
I could also help out in writing some absolute beginner definitions and the
like, as long as someone would be ready to proof read me on the technical
side to make sure that I am explaining things correctly.

I was wondering about how much material (if any) you guys get from the
distributions themselves. I know Ubuntu has the LoCo effort, and I assume
other distro's have something similar. Are we making use of the materials
that distributions themselves provide? Would it be a possibility?

Im not realy familiar with Drupal, but I have done some work on Joomla.
Assuming that Drual provides the same facilities, would it be a good idea to
let articles build themselves up in an open source sort of way, like a Wiki.
Anyone approved could edit and improve, or submit new articles, while the
admins or content editors could take care of approving the changes to help
mantain a high level of quality.
