hi al, here's the information about the the book edited by Raul Pertierra, "Social Construction and Usages of Communications Technologies: Asian and European Experiences". The cost of book in pesos is PHP 320.00. But if it is foreign order, it will cost US$19.20. We inquired about international orders and freight costs. Using Sakari as an example (Finland), they said they can send it via airmail: for US$18.92 I think it is best to email them directly--its such a complicated thing talking to them. Their website is down and they expect it be up sometime in June (!). In the meantime they can email Ms. Tina Gasmen of UP press ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). Their updated telephone number is: (+632) 926-6642; (+632) 920-2313. According to them the partial delivery of 50 books they got for the launch are all sold out but they still they are waiting for the printing of books, which was delayed due to the election period. Again--please just contact the UP Press directly. I imagine it will be more expensive than getting someone to buy the book here and sending it out in bulk. Raul may have other ideas on how to get this out faster and cheaper.
