that reminds me, i wrote a c version of Apache::GTopLimit 2+ years ago (at somepoint in the 5 months i worked at backflip.com), but never released it. if somebody wants to maintain/release it, the package is here: http://perl.apache.org/~dougm/mod_gtop-0.02.tar.gz
