Hell, it can take 40 minutes to an hour just to cross town on a bus here 
in SF!
Of course the same trip on a scooter takes 15 minutes, but that's a 
different story.
I guess what it comes down to is this....10 minutes to hear The Cure, or 
40 minutes to
hear tons of stuff you've probably never heard before (in Summer's 
case).
As for me, I don't care if the club is next door to my house, I'm on the 
guest list,
and they give me free drinks all night long...if they're playing the 
fucking Cure,
I'm NOT there.
