Hi, thanks for the response, but I don't have good news ;)
I upgraded to Apache 1.3.3 and mod_ssl 2.0.13-1.3.3. Followed
the instructions explicitly...
make certificate works now, so we seem to be getting somewhere,
however, when I try to start apache with httpd -DSSL it still
fails w/o asking for the pass phrase. The error_log-ssl file
still displays the same errors as earlier. I have checked and
double-checked the httpd.conf file to make sure that the
parameters for the CRT and KEY are pointing to the proper place.
I have no idea what can be wrong at this point in time, so any other help
could be appreciated. Perhaps when you have some more time on your hands
I could set you up with a temporary account and perhaps take a look?
Thanks Much
Jay Ribak
