I wonder if this might be tied to the reports others have listed that SSL
<port 443> dies after serving a few requests.  A mere connection to the
front <index.html> page might not cause this, it appears to happen while
traversing the pages deeper in and then even backing up to past pages.
Was a thorough going over the links and pages within the site
accomplished, or was there just the single connection to the main page of
the site?
