Hi,

I am trying to get SSL and JServ to coexist together on NT.
I am using Apache 1.3.9 and mod_ssl 2.4.8. On top of this
I am trying to install Apache JServ 1.0. It complained about
using the plain 1.3 DSO, so I recompiled ApacheJServ source
to support EAPI. When I did that it stopped complaining but
still does not run the IsItWorking servlet. It gave an error that
it had the wrong name for something the Java was trying to load
from the ClassLoader.

Here is what I know:

1. I had it nearly working with Apache 1.3.6 and mod_ssl 2.3.11,
except that after a while it behaved strangely and crashed.

2. It works out of the box with Apache 1.3.9 and ApacheJServ 1.0.
(This doesn't do me any good without SSL)

3. Apache 1.3.9 and mod_ssl 2.4.8 seems to work by itself, but I admit
that I did not test to see if the SSL part of it works.

4. My JSDK is version 2.0. My JDK is 1.1.8. I would be using GNUJSP1.0
if I had gotten that far. I am using the out of the box ApacheJServ
configuration
files. SSL is not turned on.

I am working on getting a UNIX server to play with, but the best I could
do for development is a Pentium 90 and won't be ready until at least
tomorrow. (The system that I am currently using is NT4.0 with service
pack 5.)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Larry Bendler
