This is a mailing list, not Usenet. For Usenet you'd be using a
different client, to boot.

Generally, when a message was addressed To: the list, the reply
should also be addressed To: the list, with no Cc: unless the
author has explicitly asked for it.

You could ask to be Cc:ed.

Since we're talking about ettiquette, could you please set your
mailclient up so that it wordwraps lines at 72 columns?
