Okay.

Back to the original question -- where to discuss changes to Scalar::Util and List::Util.

Back in the day, I would have recommended comp.lang.perl.misc. But, it appears that the half-dozen (?) or so Perl Usenet groups were replaced by 220 Perl mailing lists and countless web forums, etc.. Unfortunately, a canonical Perl general discussion medium no longer appears to exist. And, the brain trust has been scattered. If anyone has a recommendation for what replaces comp.lang.perl.misc, I'd love to hear it.

Is there a process for requesting a "misc", "general", or some such list on lists.perl.org? I would subscribe to such.

That said, I'm willing to read whatever the OP wants to post on this list and offer my views.
