And when you DO go out in the wet, don't put it straight in the garage, let the wind dry it off first. If you must, put the hood up, or cover it, but don't put it away wet: that goes for tintops too, I guess.

Mine hasn't got a chance of getting wet at the mo. Well, not quite true: the bonnet and wings are now behind my workshop, and are well and truly sodden..
