Another old dodge is boot polish worked well in and polished off well.
I used this on my 1965 4/4 from new, also on the bench seat and
transmission tunnel.
No problem with the hood, had a new one in the 80s, the seats still
going strong when I had to sell the car in '93.
Interesting, on their cloth roof, a popular item on the Silver Shadow,
I was taught at Rolls-Royce to use boot polish, on the popular white
wall tyres, only a thin band not the full on American , a brillo pad
was the method to clean.
Of course not on the interior trim only Connoly products there.

have used bostik for seam sealing on tents.
