Colin, That adds a new slant on 'tack' welded and as close to an admission as one can get! Glad, at least hope, that other than a near heart attack you were OK though. Now you mention the gate chap, it does sound familiar. I guess 'never heard of that sir' is the opposite of 'they all do that sir'. Sounds like the cracked windscreens saga. If that happened to ours, I'm afraid it would be the last time my wife and I went anywhere in it together. She's nervous enough about how well put together they are
