Thanks Brian and to all who
responded. The local area is festooned with speed bumps of all descriptions,
both man made and those horrible plastic types that I even have to take
carefully in the Defender. Not sure my friend is mentally equipped to slow down!
I recall when he purchased one of the first Mercedes G Wagons and he complained
to Mercedes that at over 80mph the driver’s window popped out of the frame. He
wasn’t too impressed when they suggested he “slowed down
It may be his advancing years may
have slowed him down, although given his every day car is Mercedes C65 AMG it
seems unlikely. At least for armed is for warned.
Brian, given the extent of your
answer I don’t think Dave put your name thro’ the spell checker I think it was
just a Freudian slip! I am always impressed how much knowledge some people
have. (When compared to me)
Thank you
T C
David
