I've used the furniture clinic repair kit to do a nasty scuff on my drivers
seat and the result was impressive on black.

With colours, you may need to send then a small offcut for a match.

Bob, these people may be worth a look - they market a repair compound for
leather for fixing scuffs and holes and a dye to get back to original colour
http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Leather_Car_Interior_Repair_Restoration.php
. There are some impressive looking case histories in the gallery.

I've only tried their cleaning and conditioning products but they were a
world apart from the generic "Halfords" type stuff I'd tried previously.

Subject: [mogtalk2] Leather Finish

Hi

I have just finished tidying up the paintwork on my 1984 4.4. When taking
off the masking tape I have pulled off the finish on the dash top leather so
that there is a peace which looks like suede. Does anyone know how to repair
this with paint or similar?. The leather is standard stone (beige) hide.

Thanks

Bob
