Hi,

I would like to put multiple monitor checks under one service entry.

Is that possible at all ??
I havn't found anthing contrary on the man page.

Situation:
I have to check a group of hosts that listen on a certain port and
one host that happens to listen on another port. The service they run is the
same. therefore I would like to keep them together in the checking.

can i put it in one serive ??

Problem:
if i do it like this then only the last result is checked to trigger an alarm:

------------
watch somehosts
    service port-listening
            interval 10m
            monitor tcp.monitor -p 9999
            monitor tcp.monitor -p 29999 anotherhost.example.com ;;
            period wd {Sun-Sat}
                alert mail.alert me

--------

doing it like this:

--------
watch somehosts
    service port-listening
            interval 10m
            monitor tcp.monitor -p 9999
            period wd {Sun-Sat}
                alert mail.alert me
            monitor tcp.monitor -p 29999 anotherhost.example.com ;;
            period wd {Sun-Sat}
                alert mail.alert me
--------

gets me an "unknown syntax in period section [monitor tcp.monitor -p 2999
anotherhost.example.com ;;],

any ideas how to do it?

I use mon 0.99.2

best regards and thanx for that wonderfull tool.
