thanks for the info, I was looking at the West Marine "mini" model # 300330. ( pg
1019 ) as a replacement. I have good snap shackles so I only need the vang. I'll check
on the Laser vang model also.

I ordered boom vang parts from West Marine, using upper and lower blocks
designed for a Lazer. I was able to get the T-notch boom plate directly
from a Lazer distributor. Works great!
