Our M-15 is in the garage and handy to measure. I am not sure exactly what you mean by 
bow eye? But I will give it a shot. On our bow (1988 model) there is an a metal 
bracket mounted .75 inches back from the further most forward potion of the bow. On 
the front most part of this bracket there is an eye where the winch cable connects, 
further back are two  holes, one for the forestay and the other for the forward corner 
of the jib.  This multi-purpose bracket is centered on deck and .75 inches back from 
the very tip of the boat.
