I had a 13 lb Danforth on a 23' sailboat with 20' of 3/8" chain. I'd opt for
a 7-8 lb anchor with the 12' of chain recommended in the last post. A second
anchor of 4 lbs would be a backup system (lunch hook). I kept 3
anchors/rodes/chains onboard.
