Hi Mike, That is what I am using as a back-up system in my M15.
My primary anchor is a small Bruce with chain and rode, because it is good on so many different bottoms. The Fortress is great in sand or any bottom where it can dig in, but if you have heavy weed on the bottom, the Fortree won't penetrate the weed to get to the bottom. That's where you need the Bruce. Anchoring is an art, and you need various "anchoring tools" to match the anchoring requirements in the area where you sail.
