M_Boats: Centerboard question M15

We jacked my M15 up a bit to see if the centerboard was still stuck 
(from last summer) and it wasn't; that's good, but the pin that it 
swings on seemed to be coming out of one side of the keel more than 
the other (like it had been pushed part way out.  Is there something 
that is supposed to keep this pin in place?  It looked like it might 
have at one time been epoxied in or something like that.
