Just another thought -- Rigging failure not always a product of stress. Metal fatigue and corrosion can occur when the boat is just sitting at the dock or on the trailer. New rigging (upsized to 5/32 with toggle jaw for the back stay) is cheap insurance. Ocean Rigging in Fort Myers does a great mail order job.
