I am no expert and am just giving my 2 Canadian cents worth.... but from
what I have seen and done I would say would might be OK (with a 15, not
a 17) if there is no sand,
water or gravel on your ramp when you are retrieving. It would also be
an advantage if you have a manual tranny. Could be iffy with an auto.
I use a macho van with a healthy 3.3L V6 and front wheel drive, no
problems at all. (we don't like that mini word....)

Being the youngest in my family, some how I was cheated out of my share of
wisdom, which must have been divided between by two brothers. They are so much
wiser then their years..........(sarcasim added). I really would like to be
right, but if I have to admit to my brothers that my Monty is too much for my
Jetta, so be it.
