I should add, I never have had trouble on ramps with power. Big
problem on ramps is not enough slope, not too much. The pickup had
more, but the AWD in the Subaru is a very nice feature for sandy or
slippery ramps.
Where I feel the difference between the cars is at highway speed, on
hills. But I have plenty of power to go up hills at 55, just not at
70.
On a related topic, I'm thinking about a new trailer. The tongue
extension would be really nice, and my trailer is pretty old and beat
up. Will I have problems towing an empty trailer 1000 miles?
