Thanks to all for the warm welcome and useful suggestions. I am sure
looking forward to next season, for sailing on the Potomac, racing, cruising
the
Bay, whatever.

One thing I would like to make use of other's experience on is how to rig a
jiffy-reefing system that I can use for reefing alone in a blow. My current
scheme is to lash down the luff and leach cringles with lanyards by hand, which
is easy to do at the dock, not so easy hove to in a wind. Seems like one
would like to have reefing lines pre-installed for luff and leach. How do the
pros do it?

Thanks,

Rick
