agg-sharp already has part of hardware acceleration through TAO.OpenGL. Cairo
is really large project and it's hard to help it become hardware
accelerated, while agg-sharp is simple and that can be done much simpler.

agg-sharp also much faster than cairo in software mode and has better output
quality.
