I ship anywhere in the world and I charge the actual shipping cost, plus $2
for the packing materials (all mine is custom made and I really spend the
$2!).  This adds an extra layer of time, in that I need to get the cost and
options and e-mail them and wait for the reply, but we are luckier than
most in that we don't have to go to the Post Office, since we have a
complete mailing system on our premises.  But we do have to hand fill out
the many paper forms, which is just plain silly.  I am surprised the Post
Office doesn't make us write on parchment with goose quill pens!
I fully understand why many small sellers (who only have limited time to
spend on selling) won't ship out of the U.S.  Many buyers don't fully
realize just how difficult the U.S. Post Office makes it to send out of
country packages.
