Hi Ira - As I understand it, the late and greatly missed Mr Ramone loved
this material and collected it very seriously (as one can see by the pieces
emerging).

Presumably, "the Estate" doesn't share the same feelings about it. I don't
see it as good or bad either way. If they are not interested in the material
itself, why would they keep it?

What's particularly interesting for me is to see the items coming up (as
they did last time) with the Suitable Only For Adults censor stamp on them,
indicating they sourced from Australia at some point. There's a good chance
that some of these are from a collection that belonged to someone who
collected all their lives and then passed away, and his "estate" sold off
his material that ended up in the Ramone collection... which is now being
sold on.

I'm sure there are some collectors out there who don't want to contemplate
this - but you can't take it with you.
