Because...
She frames everything perfectly. Does it for a fair price. And f I
have any problems, does she put me on 'hold' or say she's too busy to
help? NOOOO. She lends an enthusiastic helping hand. For example;
When I was sending a 40x60 of LADY FROM SHANGHAI across country,
she's there to help me 'de-frame' it (from a gorgeous 4" ebony birds-
eye maple frame which she made) put it in a 20" diameter tube so as
not to damage the poster in any way, and THEN when it was too large
for shipping, she did it all over again after removing the poster
from the sonotube so I could have it re-cut!
So, sure, I have NEVER used any other framer. Sure, I've spent
thousands of dollars with Sue as she's spent hours helping me choose
the proper double matting and bamboo frames for my 'tropical
collection,' expertly framed my 3-Sheets in stunning gold and black
which set off the poster for optimal display. And sure, she's "oooed
and awwwwed with me as I unrolled my newest acquisition. And sure I
consider, Sue, the only one I'd EVER trust with any poster of worth
in my or anyone else's collection when it comes to the proper framing
materials and skill to create a suitable display for posters. And
sure, I consider Sue, Susan and Maddy to be three more folks to put
on the "Who to clone to make the world a better place" list.
BUT, SUE'S THE WORST! See here's the catch; IF you don't want to
be disappointed with the rest of the way the world works, DON'T GET
USED TO THE GREAT SERVICE SUE PROVIDES! Just try to get this kind of
service from your Cable, Cell Phone, Utility, Mortgage Company, Dry
Cleaners, Auto Mechanic, etc.
Bottom line; use someone else, but if your poster is damaged, or
faded (because they lied about using UV Plexi and didn't), or if you
pay WAAAAAY too much for far inferior materials, don't come to me
whining and crying. You were warned that you get spoiled by using
Sue Heim. But if you want to treat yourself and your posters like
they're your cousin's step-child that you couldn't care less
about...don't use Sue. She'll give your posters more care than you
will.

Hello all,
Wow! A girl goes away to sleep for the night and next morning all
this "love" in the mailbox!! Seriously, thank you all so much for
the kind words and recommendations to Steve. If you are reading
this Steve, I too am in the Los Angeles area, the San Fernando

and the hours we are open to the public. I will include my local

You are very fortunate to have found this group of folks as you
start your collection. No question here is "too rudimenatary". As
most of us are longtime collectors and everyone here is always
willing to help. As several said in their posts, there is always
somebody out there willing to part you and your money and give you
shoddy material or take advantage of you. So, I tell all my
customers that are newer collectors to join this group and ask away.
Thanks again guys for the vote of confidence.
