I think he did all his own stunts in FUN IN ACAPULCO.

Phil, Elvis starred in much better movies than Viva Las Vegas.
King Creole is one.

The real highlight of this film is Kurt Russell kicking Elvis in the shins as I recall.

What a seriously wasted film career, with very few exceptions they are ghastly B movies.

VIVA LAS VEGAS (aka LOVE IN LAS VEGAS for some international markets) showed what happened when Elvis was paired with someone as talented as Ann-Margret.

Speaking of bad film title translations...

I realize that Elvis films are generally awful, but my favorite is "It Happened at the World's Fair."

Something seems to have gone wrong when this film title was translated into various languages. I guess the rest of the world was not interested in seeing a movie about Elvis at the World's Fair.

Spanish:
Puños y lágrimas (Fists and Tears)

Danish:
Elvis i den syvende himmel (Elvis in the 7th Heaven)

French:
Blondes, brunes, rousses (Blondes, Brunettes, Redheads)

Finnish:
Sydän tarjolla (Heart Available)

Swedish:
Hjärta till salu (Heart for sale)

The Argentina poster has the "Blonde, Brunettes, and Redheads" title, but at least they were nice enough to show the Space Needle. I think most of the foreign posters do not.

BTW, I live in Seattle, and I think the US one sheet is a must- have for any poster collector who lives here.
