And I don't think Fairbanks and Pickford are comparable to Brad Pitt
and Angelina Jolie. Fairbanks and Pickford were bigger
than Brangelina.
In sports it would be like comparing Tony Romo to Joe Namath, or
Kevin Garnett to Wilt Chamberlain...the comparisons
just don't work when you are speaking of those who set a historically
high standard others benefitted from as they paved
the way with trailblazing boldness.
Dougary (it's trademarked so don't even think about it) was the
wedding of the King and Queen of the silver screen. They
were royalty during their days, any effort to sully them says more
about us than it does them.
