I think a graphically beautiful insert from a 1937? Monogram picture? has greater value that a pristine one sheet from Breakfast at Tiffany's.?
i agree with that premise.? however, i would say it differently...........? any great poster from a great movie of the 30s,40s as far more impressive than a poster of the 60s+? i still dont understand the high values placed on 007, star wars, japanese art of godzilla, etc. maybe, my prejudice is just that artistically, i love the well filmed b&w movies.? sure, i love great surround sound films or?a great "modern movie"?, but i wouldnt want the posters for them michael Visit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com ___________________________________________________________________ How to UNSUBSCRIBE from the MoPo Mailing List Send a message addressed to: lists...@listserv.american.edu In the BODY of your message type: SIGNOFF MOPO-L The author of this message is solely responsible for its content.
