I had not looked over these listings for quite some time, but after all this talk I just looked them over and I am amazed just how many people there are playing this wacky game.

I know eBay is giving free listings, but does this really help anyone? Many of the items are inflated by a factor of ten, and I would think they crowd out any "real" listings there (if there are any left).

Pitiful!

Totally correct Bruce. Between those listings and all the morons selling reproductions and personality posters in the posters, originals categories, it's nearly impossible to find stuff you're looking for easily.

it's also why there are (at this particular moment) 1,000,336 listings in Movie Memorabilia, but only 37,853 AUCTION listings (less than 4% of total listings) of course, of those 37,853 listings, only maybe 5000 of them (and I'm being generous) are "true" auctions

Between Bruce, Heritage and myself on MPB, there are more true auctions every week of movie memorabilia than on fleaBay, and unlike fleaBay's listings - the three of us actually sell all of our listings (subject to a weekly sell through rate) and on fleaBay, I'd bet dimes to dollars that maybe 1500-2000 items actually sell

it's why fleaBay has become a pathetic website for collectors
